Why does every CA wear some variation of the bottom one, regardless of age? I’m gonna make a probably unpopular comment here, but we need to stop looking so g damn frumpy as a collective. What other profession that earns $500k/yr wears octogenarian shoes?

I don’t think I’ve seen the bottom one.
 
I was talking with an FA while we were riding the sand crawler to the D gates at IAD the other day and she explained that the uniform spec for heels while they are not in-flight is different than when they are in-flight. I had no idea that the FAs carried two pairs of shoes just to meet uniform spec. Seems like unnecessary extra work.

It's super common at my shop. They have cabin shoes and their terminal shoes depending on their ensemble.
