She said yes!

Congrats! Beware, now she's going to go crazy and start asking you, "So should we have the tableclothes in blue?" at weird times, like while you're watching a baseball game. :D
:yeahthat:
and then she'll get mad at you because you don't understand that by asking that question your supposed to extrapolate that what she really means is "she feels like you're drifting apart and you should make it a point to have more romantic dinners at the table and you should pay attention and have meaningful conversation with her over dinner and you forgot to unload the dishwasher last night like you promised her you would and she has a headache and doesn't feel good and you should be more sensitive about that and... and... and..."
and if you don't get every single detail of what she is thinking of over that one question about the table cloth that she asked you during a tie game at the bottom of the 9th then you must not really love her and "maybe we shouldn't get married."

In all serious though, congrats! it's not as bad as we make it sound :D :insane:

Congrats buddy ...the pain of wedding planning will be all worth it when you guys walk down the aisle! I can say this now after the fact, but don't stress out...and remember it's yallz wedding...do what you guys want, not what pleases everyone else.

What we won't tell him is every woman gets mad and when mad hell hath no fury.

Marriage mad is different than dating mad. Something about the gold around the finger that seeps into the blood and creates and stirs all sorts of awesomeness.

Agreed. Even my brief flirtation with matrimony was enough to show me that things are just different once you take the vows.

Somehow knowing that you're at least metaphorically linked to that person for the rest of your life kinda ups the stakes a notch. Strangeness ensues.
