There is some area (cant quite remember the name or location..big help I know:insanethat has a row of bars with live music, and the entire crowd consists of 'westerners' of some sort. It was a blast.
It was really cool to see, but it's almost too far out of Xi'an to be worth going to. I think we had like a 1 hour bus ride there and all the soldiers look the same. I don't think you can see the Great Wall from there, but I'm not sure. I went to the Great Wall in Beijing.Slugger, I saw in your pictures you went to see the Terracotta Soldiers in Xi'an. Was that worth going to see, and can you see the Great Wall from there?
Shanghai is awesome. Go to the top of the building with the grand hyatt in it in Pudong. There's an awesome bar at the top looking out over the whole city.
There are also lots of cool bars in Xintindi (sp?). And we of course ended every night with an hour long massage for $8.
And I still wear my $7 tag heuer watch 4 years later.

Where is the sun in China? Every picture I see online and on TV, the sun is not shining. I could never live in a place where the sun doesn't gleem in the morning and where the flowers don't grow.
