SFO AME

Hey, do any of you have recommendations for an AME in the Bay Area? Ran into scheduling issues with my usual up in ANC due to a death in the family and it would be more convenient to tack it onto my next block of work days.

I use Peter Brown in Los Altos. Be ready for sticker shock, though. I've heard of other AMEs around ... some good, some bad. Dr. Brown is able to actually get me in when I need, though, rather than weeks in advance like some.

Mine in MI is $175 for the month without the EKG, and $275 for the one with it.

Ha that’s cheap. Mine is around $400 bucks with or without EKG. I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else though.

Not from the company, but I found out a couple years ago, there’s a code we can use to file with health insurance. And then we get a reimbursement, for about 80% I think.

Tiffany Davies was good down in the South Bay, but she (and most other Bay Area AMEs) are hard to get an appointment with less than 60 days out.
