Sennheiser HMEC-45KA headset

I use the HMEC-25 KA's (stero version, separate volume controls for each ear) in the Bro ... soooo quiet. Of course I was using David Clark H10-60s (their "top of the line" passive headset) so almost anything would be quiter/easier to wear. Can't wait to hear what the Sennheisers do on the jet, though. :)

Edit: I just looked at -46 but they only do 10Db of active whereas the -25s, a tad heaver, do 15Db. I do like the cleaner look (the 25s have some "stray" wires I'm just waiting to pull out) but I think I'll stick with my -25s. Almost 7 months in the bro and they're still in almost new condition so I think they're pretty rugged.

I use the -45 in the 737 and it works great! It's comfy and the ANR really works! Plus when I need to talk to the other guy sitting to the left of me I can slide the ear piece up and behind my ear- it sits real nice up there.

Hey guys, Doctor Headset here. I saw the posts, and to clear the confusion, we are offering a special at $505, no shipping, and if you are out of state (GA), no tax as well for the HMEC46-KA and -CP models. The -BV-K has the olume control, which raises the price, so those are $560 each. Sennheiser will not allow us to post those prices, but I can state them wherever.

And that's for the electronic noise cancelling set, just to confirm?

Yes that is correct. Now, Sennheiser has told me they are back ordered on the -46s until 8/1 (-KA) and 8/6 (BV-K). If you guys want them from me, just call and I'll take the orders with no money up front (youpaywhen they get here). I can also do payment plans, etc. We take all credit cards - except Diner's Club (does anyone still use that?) and Pay Pal.

Joe
