Have you ever considered a career in airline management? I'm sure they'd see you as the true proffesional that you are if you applied for a supervisory position.
I have actually. Airlines are buisnesses and need to be treated as such. Excessive fuel is a symptom of poor training and bad attitudes.

You mean like the poor training you received in your English classes when you didn't learn how to spell the word professional?

I actually considered explaining my rationale on fuel adds and safety of the flight, working as a team with flight crews, etc. but based on your demonstrated past lack of interest on learning anything new from other board members, I opted to just mind my own "buisness" instead. Here is one tip for you: Google Chrome has a built-in spell checker, and it's free!

Your the dispatch god here, please enlighten me. You work for a company, you follow their rules.

I have a 4 year degree from Baylor, don't need your help with the English language. However, apparently I don't understand the concept of team work and safety with regards to fuel. Please, you love to condescend to me- go ahead, you have my permission.

Well, evidently, you got a liberal arts degree because you keep making error after error in your posts. It's four year degree. Besides, if you need to start throwing out where you went to school, it better be an Ivy League or actual top school. If you have an attitude of entitlement, it doesn't matter where you went to school, people always see right through it. @manniax has respect here because he has a great job in the industry and is an all around decent guy. You need an attitude adjustment.

Why would you not argue. It's your name on the release? Don't want to stick up for your proffesional opinion of the situation or just don't care about the future of your company?
Most of the time it just isn't worth the time. If a captain wants fuel I give it to him. I would rather he take fuel he feels he needs than to argue with him, him not get the fuel, and then have him divert because he feels his fuel was getting too low. What is the point in saving that fuel then if it will just take more fuel to run a diversion recovery?

That is called enabling unproffesional behavior. At the very least enquire as to there thoughts or have i missed something. NOt just hey captain, you want more fuel! Sure well just top her off! Have a good day.

No I'm not sharing with you my degree, but I can assure you there is no problem. Ivy league school, seriously, I am in dispatch, not freaking aerdoynmaic engineering.
Please do us all a favor and go back to bothering the pilots with your extensive aviation knowelege, they really seem to enjoy your input.

Ha! So, you graduated from Baylor...you can't even spell aerodynamic engineering correctly to make your point!! One thing is for sure...pilots love you, as do your coworkers without a doubt. ;) You have a chip on your shoulder...be careful with that. In the meantime, get a spelling book or enable spellcheck.
