Second SkyWest pay package offer sent for membership ratification

So what is first year pay? And what are the chances of getting SFO as a base?

First year pay is now $30 effective *immediately for someone who signs on tomorrow.
*Technically July 1st for all other <12month FO's on property (essentially one month and 5 days of back pay)

Most junior CRJ FO in SFO was hired 2/23/2015 (I know we are very short staffed on this side of the shop, and you would have a line right out of training)
Most junior ERJ FO in SFO was hired 3/5/2015 (I have no idea how far away from a line you would be flying the heavy :sarcasm:)

It will be interesting to see the full agreement and compare it to the TA offered to the XJT side. Still has not been released by the MEC.

I'll be very surprised if it ever gets released. Have you contacted either of your DTW reps for details or an update?

I used to jokingly say "third quarter...2015" but as it turns out 3Q 2015 is here and that's no longer funny.
Running rumor is the end of this month some bases will be getting them. Sounds like it'll be a slow roll out. Sure would be nice to have some info beforehand. No idea where or how these things mount. I don't know if they will give us a mount or if they will be put in the plane.

And it would only make sense for it to be at the end of this month because I have CQ the first week of September. So yea, EFBs and SOP/call out changes effective at the end of this month, 5 days before recurrent for me. I'll buy it.

It should be mounted, and issued to the individual pilot for you to carry from airplane to airplane. I've seen the E75 mount. It'll be right where it "rains" on you during descent. Dunno about that "other" airplane. It is also going to be a Surface 3 (NOT PRO - subtle but important distinction) with LTE. It'll be running Win8 if the stuff on SWOL is to be believed, which makes some level of sense as jumping into a new major revision of Windows will require re-validation and that process is ostensibly complete.

I was "overqualified" (direct quotation from my rejection email!) to work on the EFB trial phases (I guess IS expertise is not welcomed in Aircraft Ops Tech). Not unlike @Derg, they could create a post that says "We need a guy who is a highly technically savvy pilot with programming and information systems security/administration experience, is about 6'5", 180lb, and wears a hat" and I'm pretty sure they'd make a cardboard cutout instead of calling me.
