Seaport Airlines hiring 500hr mins

I was talking about this with a former Grant pilot yesterday. The airlines/airtaxis out here go out of business/merge/etc but the pilots are always the same.
Sooo basically the only hard part is learning the new callsigns?! :D But seriously I'm sure that sucks to have to go through if it happens that often.

Well I guess things finally caught up with the management (or lack there of) at SeaPot. Good riddance!

Of course... all of the responsible parties in management failed upwards, 'cause MERIKA.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Things are not so rosy on the islands and all the idiots (with the exception of Noel) at the current place will have some trouble going to work at any place that requires competency. Word is at least 2 of the idiots who escaped early on are having issues on their new gigs.

Really sorry for the hard working people who did all the real work but the few who are left will land on their feet and in MUCH better places. And most of them are already being taken care of. But there are about 5 or 6 who are still there that need to do some very serious soul searching about who they are and how competent they are in their positions. Too bad they had to do the damage they did to so many.

Had you taken the job you would be stuck in Memphis with a long term lease and no real local opportunities for work in the industry. You dodged a really big bullet. I feel really bad for some of the guys from PDX who moved to MEM just in the past 2 or 3 months. They spent a lot of money to move there and now have to either find flying work in MEM or move back home. Seapots pass travel will probably end tonight so most people will have to purchase tickets instead of fly via CASS.

There is still more to the story so stay tuned.

guess I get a few more weeks of vacation before Skywest ground school then! Anyone know if these situations can qualify pilots for unemployment?? It would be short term, already have a job offer and class date.

Can you call SkyWest and see if they can fit you into an earlier class?
