Seaplane rating in TVC

All football jokes aside, has anyone here ever been up to Tom Brady's school in Traverse City. I'm looking to do my rating up there in the next couple of weeks and I'm looking for any testimonials, tips, warnings, recommendations on where to stay etc. Also, if anyone has any other good recommendations for schools to do seaplane ratings at I'm all ears. I'm willing to go almost anywhere in the country.

got my multi at tvc last week. i would call before getting serious about going he is usually pretty busy. I had to schedule 2 months ago. if you go dont stay at the motel 6.
