Scratch one Icon A5

That's FAKE NEWS!!!
It is written that Icons CAN'T crash! It's right there in the purchase contract. It has to be signed and notarized and everything!

Icons can't crash, they're just so ugly the sky repels them.

Seriously...that thing has goofy lines.

They were going for "sea-doo" styling

In all fairness, there are goofier seaplanes out there. I'd know, I had an unfinished Osprey 2 project sitting in my hangar. Good customer brought it over asking to finish it. I asked around, found someone who actually owned one in Australia. That guy landed his on water once, said never again and that was it. Touchdown speed was something like 85 kts with your butt below the waterline when in displacement mode.
Ended up selling it for couple of grand to a dude in AL who just wanted a tinkering project.

Same for an Aventura. I flew one once and that was enough. Anything more than a ripple made the landing exciting. Unless it is a Seabee or larger I don't think I'll fly a boat again.

"Yeah, but I'm sayin', that TruCoat, you don't get it and you get oxidization problems. It'll cost you a heck of lot more'n five hundred--
You're sittin' here, you're talkin' in circles! You're talkin' like we didn't go over this already!
Yeah, but this TruCoat--

You, sir, owe me a new keyboard.....

Granted I've never been in one, but I think a Searey would be perfect. Sure it's a toy, but it's a toy for pilots. Take some bikini girl on the lake on a calm evening before sunset. I'm sold.

Well yeah...if you open the canopy, it's probably gonna sink...it's not a submarine.

Probably an airline pilot. Amateurs.

Lake is ok too.
Seabee is back of a lot sexier, but Lake is fun too for the $
