Scott Kirby out as President of American Airlines...

Isom is a much better CEO candidate. Either Kirby up and left after the board and him had an understanding (doubtful by the options being accelerated and payout received) or he was 'shown the door' and paid to leave. The guy is a jerk and a slime ball, I'm glad he's gone.

Isom has done a lot of good and really cleaned up the operations over the last few years.

Yes sorry most of the other contracts around here including mine extended until 2021. Either way I still think 2019 is enough time to figure out how this will affect the airline.

In a decade there will be just one carrier — Amalgamated Megalines. And when they come out of bankruptcy they'll blow money trying to buy themselves . . . right after they cut everybody's pay.
