As some of you may know already I am taking my PPL at a local FBO south of Chicago, Clow International Airport 1C5 located in Bolingbrook, Illinois. It is a great small airport with pretty good prices for the surrounding area. $88 Tach, wet for a 152 and 35 for the instructor. Other places around here want more.
Anyways, im getting off the subject here, I am wondering if there would be anyway of getting a scholarship or financial aid for a FBO. I am looking to make a career out of this so it wont just be for recreational.
If anyone has any information I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Also one last question. My dad is kind of getting into aviation now that I am getting my PPL. I know that in the airline career the maximum age you can fly is I think 65. Is that also just for a recreational pilot?
