Does anyone have any input on the various flight scheduling programs that are available for a corporate flight department. It need not be very extravagant, since there are only 2 airplanes, 2 full time pilots and 2 contract guys we use occasionally for a Cirrus. Both of us full time guys are getting fed up with the constant stream of emails to our Blackberries from 4 different people asking if a plane is available on a specific date or when the airplane will be out of the shop; in general, we only want to know about a trip when the times and dates are set in stone. Automated integration with the calendar on the Blackberry would be a huge plus, but not totally necessary. I suppose it would be nice to have a "post-flight" function where we can log the block times to be sent to the accountant to bill the different partner companies that use the airplane. Basically we want it to, at a minimum, block out the airplane and crew, and be viewable by everyone in the company that needs to know, and editable by only 1 or 2 people behind the desks and of course the flight crew.
Right now, I'm looking at the CAMP software (since we have the CAMP maintenance tracking program) and Flight Support Services by Universal Weather and Aviation.
