I saw them in the 90s at the Forum in LA and when they sang that line, the dad in front of us looked at the two early teen daughters he had brought to the show and nodded super vigorously, like they finally were speaking the same language. Then Tom DeLonge launched into his song “it would be nice to have a bee jay” and it got weird.

At my shop, someone posted about the rumor of 5 British Airways pilots that’s died of the vaccine on our pilot wide chat group. It took me 5 seconds to Google that and found that BA had also announced that wasn’t true. Other guys responded too. Two days later, I meet my captain at breakfast just before heading out. First thing he asked me was if I heard about the 5 BA pilots that died…I told him I’m chipped too, so hopefully I’ll be okay.

I run into so many BS rumors like this, it's comical.

The irritating part is some bozo goes on and on about it, won't stop bugging about it, and then you shut him down with proof that it's false, and they just shrug and wander off like it's no big deal that they were spreading agitation and pure BS.

Actually, I've stopped playing psychological footsie with people.

When they go off railing on something, I just ask "what do you want? No, not that, what is it that you REALLY want?"

Turns out its money, in one form or another, like 99% of the time. I'm not saying that's wrong, as money buys lots of things, I just want people to be honest in their motivations. That's something people don't like to do.
