Why wait till Jan? Don't let the door hit ya.
I would stay away. I'm leaving in jan. or feb. for a new position. They are reorganizing all depts and I think the "fat lady" is warming up in the background (before they shut the doors). I have been through this in the past and all the ducks are lining up . The passengers I fly are aware of this also and are getting nervous about "re-upping" after they have flown out their purchased time.
You have eight posts on this board and every one of them is bashing the company you work for. What is your motivation for coming on here and trying to make your "predictions" come true by trying to steer everyone away and spreading crap about the company. Don't tell me you have some noble aim: "I just want to help people not get into something bad." I think any reasonable person reading all this you have written will see right through that.
I've NEVER heard a customer say anything even close to what you allude to in your post. I hear how happy they are, how many friends they've told, how many hours they've bought/are buying etc. etc. Day after day after day; and the other pilots I talk to tell me the same thing. Like someone else said earlier in this thread, if there's any problems, it sure isn't due to a lack of business. Although I hate to think what kind of feeling customers get about us if they're flying with you.
When SWA started out many people said it would never succeed. They had some very rough times early on, but look at em now. Did they succeed because of complaining, negative employees telling everyone not to work there, even when times were tough/busy in the beginning or because of motivated, hard working positive, customer friendly people?
Same with Fedex, NetJets, etc. It takes the employees to make it work as much or more than skilled management.
I wish you the very best in your new job; I hope you've found the perfect company with the perfect management that does everything just the way you like it. I hope they are so successful that no fat ladies will ever sing, in fact I hope they're so busy they call you to come on over a little early.
Have a nice day.
