Anyone know the range in miles and time of cruise (average) of the saratoga II? just wondering...assume an average headwind from teh north west flying from sc to kentucky.
 
Saratoga information manual shows it as just over 1000nm at 65% and standard conditions (economy cruise power). Fuel is 102 useable and if you fly high at lean out for economy you should get the burn down to 13 or 14 gph and around 145kts TAS. That works out to 6 hours of flight time with a 1-hour reserve.

It is not a bad aircraft. With full tanks you can still fit 4 average people (including pilot) and be in under max weight.
