Anyone taken check rides (preferably CFI or instructor add on) recently in the San Diego area with a DPE? I would like to know who are fair DPE's in the area and who should be passed over. Thanks
 
Welcome to the forum. Which check ride are you taking, if it's for a CFI initial it has to go through the FSDO first. I have a friend who did his training out there..Ill give him a call and see if he has any useful information.
 
I used many of them. Julie Keane of Ramona is very fair and a nice person.
Dave Leonard did my CFI. It was a loooong checkride but a very relaxing atmosphere.

I would highly recommend both of them.
