Just start watching the World Series of Poker on ESPN.

I was gonna go up east and do my lazy 8's over Kamas, but the plane was short on time before its 100 hr so I just went out to Tooele. Lotsa snow up in the hills tho.
 
Well, I guess I'll throw down for this thread. After realizing that they have Asher, I added SLC to my jet bid. Never thought I'd do it, but the outdoors calls, and it's just another chance to get the hell out of here! Either way, when I'm in the Candlewood Penitentiary for six weeks (probably end of May), I'll be down to hang out.

That snow was freakin' awesome! I had a great last day skiing in 10" of powder up at DV. Wind kinda sucked but it was nice in the trees!

Maybe this post should have been named "where's the local AA meeting" Seems that beer is mentioned many times in the post.
 
Marsh, come on, move out here. It's a blast living here. Tons of recreation fun.

Beer, I wouldn't know anything about that now with the new SkyWest 12 hour bottle to throttle rule. It seems that us who are on reserve and get 12 hours of rest a day are not on prohibition from alcohol, thanks to a few who don't have any self control.
 
How is the flying weather around SLC and what is the best time of year to fly there. I assume summer, but how is it around the October to November period - getting into low mins, icing, etc, or still pretty nice?
 
This year was pretty good even through the winter. I have yet to fly here in the summer. It should be interesting because of the heat and altitude.
By the way I am not an alcoholic, just a drunk alcoholics have to go to meetings.

I think I'm going to put my bid in this week. Not sure how long it will take, probably the end of June at the earliest.

We are having a JC prom. Sweet...yes you can escort her Jdflightman. Oh wait who would I go with?

I honestly don't know how a slouch like myself got her. She is great.

So when is the SLC crew getting together or should i plan it?
 
Apparently SLC get-togethers work best with little-to-no advance warning, and only when someone from out-of-town is here, Doug. :D
