I posted this in the Collegiate Aviation forum, but I don't think many people go there....

Will anyone be at the SAFECON this week?? If you are, please respond!!!
 
What the heck is a safecon? Is it some sort of recovering pilots meeting??

I used to take part in those events as well, the only difference is we used to do them in a bar!!! The last school standing wins the prize: a 100 gal keg, with the inscription: this drinking school has a real flying problem!

I'll be out there friday night, saturday, and then returning home sunday morning. I'm going out to attempt to see some landings and then go see my John at the banquet. It might be too late to get ahold of competitors/coaches because they are probably all on their way out already. Anything you were looking for?
 
Not in particular...just wondering if there was going to be a mini-JC get together, since I'm here and all....

I've looked around the internet for some good SAFECON pics, and haven't been so successful in finding any.
 
Weather permitting, I'll be there Monday thru Saturday. Hope to be able to judge some events. Come over and say "hi" if you're around. It'll be neat returning to the 'boro, somewhere that I used to haunt. Actually, maybe my ghost can still be seen in a closet or two at the airport or around the campus!

Nothing really to take pictures of...a bunch of airplane geeks trying to look important!!!

Wait, that's the same as Jetcareer!!!
