Oh boy the craps rolling down hill fast and it's gaining speed! Just found out last night at the company childrens Christmas party, that my workcenter is going to layoff two people.:(:panic::panic::panic: I guess I need to start looking for a new job just in case one of them is myself!:banghead: I knew Delta got the president out of retirement to do their evil bidding!:rolleyes:
 
Hey, It's not ALL bad. According to the media up here "Com Air is returning to BGR" Ha they never left.

Back to real life. I turned out ok in the "post Comair world" Got my AGI and am teaching now. Scary eh? Maybe that will be the kick in the pants to get the rest of your ratings done.

I'm filling out posted position application like they're going out of style. Won't know who or when till 1st QTR 08. I guess Delta wants an additional 6 million dollars in cost cuts on top of the 7 we gave in Ch.11.:rolleyes: That is what's fueling the plane parking, hours and personnel reduction. Whoever thinks being owned by Delta means everything, they need a swift kick to the jimmy!:mad:
 
I do believe we are going to see the "down-side" of the ever changing cyle VERY, VERY soon folks. Doesn't take long, does it?
 
Eh....I doubt it. Not as far as the regionals go. Passenger air travel continues to grow despite economical woes. It grows every year. I think we may see some mins come back up for a couple of years but the regionals will still be hiring like mad for the foreseeable future. Then in five years when all these, by the hair on their asses guys, start retiring like they would have in the next couple..It will all go cookoo again.
 
Alrighty then!:banghead: I've put in to be an ASAP anlyst up in Comair's Flight Safety department. We'll see how that goes. I'm actually hoping that two co-workers move on to other postions so we don't have to axe anyone and I get to stay in my current position....but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.:rolleyes: Any JC Piedmont guys want to walk in my resume in the late spring????:hiya:

Anyhoo man, sorry to hear about that. How close are you to finishing your ratings? Eagle is looking for some sharp cats like you, are you in a position to try them?

Yeah I'm refering to the matter that come's out of every living animals butts.:D
I have a little over 300TT and my FBO just got a Dutchess, so I'm gonna bust out my Multi Commercial in a few months, so yeah I'm just about done. I have the cards the girls from Eagle HR gave me at NJC this year, they said to give them a call when I got my multi and they try to get me into that new program....if it's still around then.

So it sounds like you decided on Blue Ash Aviation?? FWIW, I was just down at Lunken yesterday and the place in the terminal (Flamingo Air) now has an Aztec they do training in...the board said it was $250 an hour but it looks like that's only about $30 an hour more than the Duchess.
