They did and the outcome was really interesting. Because of the strike in Ireland, FR will relocate appr. 10 planes to Poland. 100 pilots and 200 cc can either move to poland or start looking for a new job.Ryanair execs better start brainstorming.
*Shrug* it's their company. They did and the outcome was really interesting. Because of the strike in Ireland, FR will relocate appr. 10 planes to Poland. 100 pilots and 200 cc can either move to poland or start looking for a new job.
They already did and went to Emirates instead. Hundreds of flights are cancelled for lack of crews. Basically RYR adjusts or times will become more difficult than they already are. Brexit is also making things even more complicated for them. They did and the outcome was really interesting. If you want to see what this job would look like without a strong central labor organization, look no further.
Hmm..... a strong labour organization is really important, but doesn’t help if the NMB says NO. At least pilots are allowed to strike in Euroland if they want....Everything bad about airline pilot labor relations is 100x worse in Euroland.

Nope, I‘m talking about the strike 2 weeks ago. After the strike „Darth O‘Leary“ made the announcement to relocate 10 aircraft from Dublin to Poland. They already did and went to Emirates instead. Hundreds of flights are cancelled for lack of crews. Basically RYR adjusts or times will become more difficult than they already are. Brexit is also making things even more complicated for them.
Eh, for Americans living in a democratic republic, weve got about as strong a central anything as we can stand. If we had a strong central labor organization we wouldn't have a different union at every airline competing with each other.
I don't know how Ryanair makes money. A few years ago I flew from Vienna to London Stansted to Edinburgh to Krakow for less than $100.
Ryanair execs better start brainstorming.
Hey man, preaching to the choir. They don't need to brainstorm at all. They just need to start paying up, and giving guys decent schedules. The solution is really simple. Quit being greedy bastards, and charge what it actually costs to run an airline properly.
Hey man, preaching to the choir.
They must have enough cash theyre gonna "try" a few things because theyre greedy bastards. Their DNA is greedy bastard, a tiger doesnt change its stripes that easy.
And I should add something less choirlike so as to be intellectually honest; when it comes to the ryan airs, mesa, and gojets of the world, "you knew the pay when you went to work there, leave".Oh, I know I'm preaching to the choir. Ryanair is the "Eff it, I'm going to learn how to drive trucks" job.
