RVSM Equipment Required

For curiosity's sake, I have been learning about RVSM airspace. I have read through Appendix G in part 91 and done some online research, but what exactly are the required pieces of equipment for aircraft to become RVSM compliant?

It looks like 2 altimeters, an autopilot with altitude hold, and an altitude alerting system. What about transponder requirements? Just one mode C?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not sure of the exact details but it has a lot to do with a precision pitot static system being installed or an existing one upgraded to a more accurate condition. Avionics are a sideline issue and are more related to required equipment for Class A airspace.

A mode c would work fine. Regs state a SSR transponder...which is basically any transponder that interrogates with ATC secondary radar.

I believe the autopilot also has to be

autopilot with altitude mode capable of holding +/- 100ft
