"Rotate"

One of the problems I have with pilots in light aircraft is that they often seem unable to distinguish between "rotate" and "fly". They will read "Rotate at 55 Knots" on the takeoff checklist, rotate at 55, and then keep right on rotating until they pull the airplane off the ground on the back side of the power curve (if I don't stop them).

Has anyone noticed a similar phenomena?<O:p</O:p

No problem. I was just pointing out that not all of us do it to pretend we are flying big jets.:)

I meant it as "I'm sorry you have to make a call which you know is pointless for the airplane you're flying," not "so you don't fit my stereotype, well geeeeez, ssssaaaaaaahhhh-rrrrrryyy." All is well, except for my dropping ninety eight bucks on groceries between posts.

Houston... exactly.
