Room Sharing

To keep costs really low, I'll ship a sleeping bag to someone local if they don't mind bringing it to JC. I'll take the floor. I'm there for the experience, not for the sleep.

Yes, there was the one seperate room. The condo was really a super deal considering the location. Right next door to the Bellagio. The construction noise shouldn't be a problem at all next time around.

Anyone interested in that again or not?

Hey Jim - I don't mind sharing aircraft space with you, but I'm not sharing a room with you dude! Especially if you snore!!!

Me snore, not at all. There were a couple others though that hit it pretty heavy...

OMG...I snore, who told you that???

I was there man...

I can't say I actually saw you sleeping, but I sure as heck heard you... I thought the little yellow doorag thing and the breath right strips were a nice touch.

(I was over there for a little bit in the afternoon with Tony and somebody else (maybe your friend that came up... I can't remember) before the main JC event.)

Lol, well I guess that they (breathe right strips) didn't work. My ex said that I normally don't snore except when exhausted.

I brought the strips as a precautionary measure. I'm just glad that I didn't snore at night keeping people awake.

But to be fair...I was extremely tired that day. As a result I didn't make it to either the Alligant tour or the mock interviews.

Here's a solution to the "construction noise". All the snorers need to share a room. You'll cancel each other out and won't hear a thing.

I am back in the room sharing pool. Long story. Either way I won't know for sure until my award for October comes out in September.

If I go I'll share a room with ya. You'll have to give me the story next time I see you, hope it's not bad news. I quit drinking alcohol, but I'm still pretty wild. You should have seen me after 10 Red Bulls when I went out with Luke when he came down to Charlotte earlier this month.

If I can find a room to split with that would be great, rooming by myself is the only thing holding me back. Cause $350 for hotel + $400 for flight + expense $$ = a lot for a college student.

I'm in the exact same boat. I'm down for sharing a room but I am still trying to finalize my airline tickets and stuff to make sure I'll be able to go. If you are actually interested in sharing a room then let me know!

Since I live in Vegas. I have some room here at my place. Its a fold out couch that can sleep 2. I do live 15-20min from the strip so you wont have the constant excitement ect. but its a free place to stay just let me know.

I might be staying at the Stratosphere, so if anyone wants to share a room up there let me know. Its not 100 percent yet, so I will give an update when things are finalized.

If your gonna be paying $80 or more there for a night, you might just want to do the monte carlo at $129 since the cost of cab from the area where we'll all be at will add up in cost!

I'd be game for sharing a room with someone (or multiple people). It worked out great with us when we had the Embassy Suites. Maybe I should call jdflight and Tony, they seem to be my typical bed partners. :D

Only thing is, I'm a very clean person and very orderly, so when I room with people it ticks me off when they trash the place. I make it a point not to trash hotel rooms at work, so I do the same when I'm on vacation too. Clumpinglitter, you or any other women are welcome to room with myself and us other guys who normally room together. We are non-perverts. Well, I can't speak for TonyW. ;) Just kidding; much love Tony. :D

It works out great when you can get four in a room. A pull-out couch is a must. Hence why the Embassy Suites worked out well last year. I think a cab ride to the strip was around $8-10? Candlewood Suites might be another option. 15 minute walk or $8 cab ride to the strip.

A reason why the Monte Carlo was reserved was to have everyone in one central location, makes it SO much easier to network, meet up, and in the long run saves money and time when it comes to paying for taxis (which can easily cost you sixty bucks plus a day).

The Monte Carlo is centrally located on the strip. They will be more than happy to put a roll away bed in there for those who want to share a room.

Also for the price it was reserved for it is a steal for Las Vegas!
