Roger...

Whew! I thought I was about to get called out for a moment.
You know what I find more annoying than com mistakes? Radio Nazis...
That's not being a radio Nazi... "Roger" has a very distinct meaning and when you use it instead of repeating your clearance you can cause problems.

As Roger, Roger points out about "Roger", it means something not at all similar to "Affirmative", yet I hear guys who really should know better using it that way all the time. Roger?

I hate it when people read back a clearance with "roger", You either say something like "1234 Wilco"(or read back the entire clearance if it is a takeoff or landing clearance), or just read the clearance.
