True story. I put the whole 1925 Army War College Report called The Use of Negro Manpower in War. on parchment paper appropriate to the era and the length of time having past. It motivated me back then. . .even today <as I read some these posts>, it reminds me negative friction of individual mindsets will occur. . .will never diminish. FACT.

I pass it onto my SPONGE buddies <metaphorically mind you.>

Reflection. "Sorry, who are you to be asking me for my pilot's license? I only asked for fuel. You're a lineman; only thing you need to see is my credit card. <Silly rabbit. Tricks are for kids>

@derg Sorry about the ping pong cross thread commentary but they tied together <of course>

"laconic" - I actually liked that word. Three strong syllables - didn't immediately register but I liked it. <yep, I had to look it up.> I liked the definition so I had to give kudos to @SteveC STEVIE for his self depiction. 👍

"terse" - perhaps another synonym? Something less 🤓 ? Pithy, kindly, thoughtful. OK, I need to work on it more.

My first thought was "the quiet storm" however, I knew you wanted originality.

<sorry, still struggling with that "misanthrope" labeling. . .hey, brother read me like book.> I do "dislike" people. Bunches of em.
