Riley Rocket . . .

I don't know much, other than you get speedbrakes and a fuselage tank. I assume the engine/turbocharger are signifantly upgraded as well, the speedbrakes allow you to descend without "shock-cooling" the turbo.

Not sure how it compares to the factory P210. From the guys I talked to, the fuselage tank is pretty much useless unless you're only carrying two people up front and a few bags.

Anybody have any experience with this conversion?

I dream about flying a souped up Cessna. Two of them on my list are the Blackhawk Conquest, Riley Rocket Skymaster, and the Silver Eagle 210.

I don't have any experience but I heard that the fuel system is something to get familiar with. People have starved the engines of gas when infact there's gas in other tanks.

I think this plane could do TN to CA in 8 hours and probably beat the airlines if you have a plane change somewhere else.

It would be MUCH more fun, too!!

So you'll be out here to see us soon then Lloyd?

Hey, I just was looking at a 310 with the Riley Rocket conversion that still holds speed records for certain around the world legs. It is a beautiful machine. I am still working at getting a ride in it. It is currently being used for aerial survey work. Looking forward to seeing you if not in the Rocket in VEGAS

The 310 Riley converted airplane is a nice bird. The normal 310's are pretty good too...

Anyone got any pictures of these planes, I have never heard of them.

You've never heard of a Cessna 310 or 337? Or you've never heard about these conversions?

If it's about the conversions, all Riley does is strap higher HP engines onto the airframe, adds some avionics, etc.
