I've been lucky enough to fly some of the aircraft on my list, but I'll probably never get to a 727.

One of my favorite planes too, my gf had the luck to land her first aviation job on one at age 21, for a cargo company based in Brazil but run by former Amerijet cp. She lost her job after the company stopped flying them, she applied to every 727 operator in the US, none of them took her serious I guess a pilot with 3-4K hours but no time on type is a better choice then a pilot with a lot less TT but most of it in 727s..

They still have a ton of them operating in Brazil, the problem is that they are filled with pilots that are too old to fly for an airline and are going nowhere until they loose their medical...

Here's some more...

Some day. as your looking out over the bay, sipping a cold beer after a warm day sailing, you'll be holding your old bird in your hand.

Still see a few around Asia, Transmile out of Kuala Lumpur still fly them. Always a great sight.

I never even saw one in the new colors, I only got one shot of a Cappy 727 taking off from MSP in like 2003. Very rarely see them anywhere these days...
