Retaking FAA Knowledge Tests

I remember when I signed off students for their rides, the examiner would go over the codes for the questions missed, usually they knew them by heart, and the oral exam would certainly be more focused on those areas.

You obviously selected good examiners for your students, which speaks well of your professionalism as an instructor.

Thanks, but.... Nah

It was completely out of my hands. 141 school, and the examiners were selected by scheduling. It is just the way they operated over there, but they stuck to the script.

I'm not letting you off the hook that easily. It sounds like you worked for an A-1 school and I'm sure they were selective in who they picked and retained as instructors.

Not to toot my own horn or anything (okay, maybe just a little :)), my lowest written score was the instrument. I scored a 94 on it; no lower than 98 on all my other knowledge tests.

Needless to say I was never hassled over incorrect answers during the oral.
