Resume': Example of what NOT to do

I just send this attached to every resume. I assume they're getting spam blocked or something, because I haven't gotten a reply yet.

Please tell me it wasn't AA. Haha I've heard they're doing this lately.

No. It's a charter operator that I am.over qualified for, applied on e about a year ago, kept getting the "thanks but no thanks" letter, then finally got that. I am half considering doing it in hopes of getting a call, doing the interview and getting an offer, just to turn it down.

I am forced to assume that many of these resumes were a desperate attempt to stand out as a 'wildcard winner', but also wonder if many of them were just attempts at emulating 'George Constanza'.

And if they don't, maybe you don't want to work for them anyway. ;p

I would have left the last item unchecked though.

This. Always remember gents - you're interviewing the company too. Put your personality out there so they can decide whether or not it's a fit before you invest with them.

I always wanted to accept an interview at somewhere I didn't want to work and just be a weirdo. Could be fun.

I interviewed at Great Lakes solely for the experience, with absolutely no desire to actually take the job. Looking back, maybe I should have gotten......creative.

I take it said applicant has not made an appearance? TELL ME you don't just HAVE to meet this one! At least just to find out who would take time on such a thing. You might be surprised. Unless you're only looking for a temp who will follow SOP and personality is not important to you, how else do you pick the finalists?
