O.K., I know we've hashed over resume' submission in the past but this is too goog; I had to share.

I came across this one as I was going through a pile of papers. This was a legit submission for a SIC (seat warmer) position.

The personal information and picture are covered to protect the senseless.

NOTE: Ignore the dashed lines around the print, I did this to get a better scan..

Well...it's interesting, but as long as the information is all there I might not hold it against him. The only problem with it is that he doesn't have any idea if the hiring guy will like it or hate it. You appear to be in the "hate it" category.

If he spells everything right, gets the data across, etc. what's the problem?

Call "it" and and see what "it" is really about... If you like "it" (and "it" fits insurance mins), interview "it". That's your call, obviously. In the end, tell "it" to restructure the resume. Gotta give "it" points for creativity when most have a generic resume. Most, who are dedicated to a new job, wouldn't do that . He/She/it may not be bright and worthy of an interview, but "it" obviously stood out as an applicant. Give "it" a shot.

My $.02.

That's thinking outside the box. Hell, I'd hire him for his creativity.

What about what companies shouldn't do. I recently had an "offer to submit" a video, like an application to "The Amazing Race" style resume. No thanks. Please remove me from your list.

Please tell me it wasn't AA. Haha I've heard they're doing this lately.
