Reserves helping with ATC?

Might help with your veteran's preference, but the edge is pretty minor.

In order to apply for VRA, you have to actually be controlling traffic in the military for a minimum of 52 weeks, among a few other requirements. The commitment to do that is six years, so it's not something to do just because you'd like to get an advantage in hiring, it's a major career/lifestyle decision.
