Reserve Dispatcher at Alaska

Yes, but chances are you can get on as an assistant with less experience. Maybe even fresh out of school.
 
Anyone lucky enough to get a call on this just a heads up. If they call you for a phone interview they will ask you if you smoke. If your answer to this question is yes, your phone interview will be done right there. I do not smoke on the regular but I was honest with them and they shut down the phone interview right there.
 
The real difference between Reserve and Assistant Dispatchers is that we no longer have Assistant Dispatchers at AS, so this is a Reserve opening.
 
I think someone called here for this position but I was not home the number listed was Eugene, Oregon. No message on the answering machine and they never called back again. I wonder???
 
Position was filled internally. Supposedly more hiring in the pipe later this year/early next so keep an eye out.
 
Oh okay I was wondering if it might have been them because i know Horizon is in Oregon. So maybe it was not them then and just someone try to sell me something. Thx

Horizon is in PDX but I thought Alaska was in SEA... ? Eugene is about 2 hrs south of PDX so it would be odd if that was Alaska calling.
 
True but when you are looking everywhere for a job and applying to everything that pops up you begin to over analyze things, I have applied to 39 positions in the past two months and only heard from 8 of them, which where I was turn down. Being I have no job right now I have the time to over think why I'm not getting calls.
 
Yeap got that one too. I mainly watch over Simply Hired, Indeed, Trovit, ERAU, and here. Between all that I generally find the ones out there that are open ,however there are some that do slip past so I will run a post with recommendations of where to watch for the god jobs. I guess I have to keep tweaking the process and keep at, what else could I do?
