Wondering how a degree from an online school compares to a degree from traditional university.

Situation: Get a 4 year degree.

Options: University of Toledo for 3 years or internet courses for 2.5 years. (With 3 transferable credits from a University, 12 credits for Military experience and 15 credits for work related experience)

Concern: Do employers in the aviation industry care if you graduated from a traditional school or an online distance learning school?

Nope.

The degree looks the same no matter if it was earned via online classes or in person.

In fact, if the subject should even come up, you could really play it to your advantage to having done the online thing. It shows initiative, dedication, and focus that you were able to have the self-discipline to accomplish an education without the traditional structure of in-person classes.
