Well unless they pry the old Freedom Air certificate out of his grubby hands in this deal too I'm not holding my breath that this is the last we've see of this arsehole.Cockroached squashed?
I remember a friend telling me it was being kept around for some stupid reason. I haven’t seen it in a few years. I used to see it by the hangar all the time if I took the back way to the parking lot. Shouldn’t be surprised though, wasn’t his solution for getting pilots in position for the DHL flying to use zed’s? I guess United and American wouldn’t let him use positive space of course. But where are they keeping the 1 crj200 they were using to pay vacation and sick time?
I used to fly for Omni Air Transport, the Learjet charter side of Omni Air International back when it was all family run. Occasionally we would fly their personnel around when they would get in a pinch.UPS crew positioning story from way back in the 727 days. Only time I ever rode on a light jet was when our plane ended up in SLC instead of DEN. Solution was to charter a Lear to get us into position. I felt like a celebrity or something. We took all the candy bars on the way out. I'm sure that Lear crew got a hoot out of moving some trashy freight dawgs.

Delta used to and probably does still do this. When I worked on the ground for them they’d use a King Air from some company in the Atlanta area to move parts and MX If a RON airplane broke. Softened the headache for us gate agents that had to rebook in the morning.I used to fly for Omni Air Transport, the Learjet charter side of Omni Air International back when it was all family run. We would also fly American’s mechanics around which was always fun. We would taxi over to their big MX facility at Tulsa it was like we landed a UFO over there. Everyone came out to see our Lear 35 loaded up like a clown car with mechanics and tools.
