Republic airlines

My honest best advice I can give you is to get done with CFI'ing as quickly as possible and get on with one of those regionals that "pay a few bucks more" and put it towards the loan. Put as much as you can till it hurts. Reducing the minimum payments are doing nothing but making you a debt slave to interest.
Yeah I'm starting to increase the grind. Just surpassed 500 hrs to go so I'm hoping by the end of the year, realistically. The bump in pay at the regionals from what I make now should take me off IBR...not really successfully chipping away with it but it's the best way to survive right now.

At this point specially since PSA, Piedmont aund envoy all three are giving 15k sign on bonus. Pretty much everyone is getting to 40-45k first year FO pay. (Except MESA of course) Republic will have to up the game if they want to be one of the top dogs.
Any one has any info on reserve times @envoy. I spoke with a few pilots some have been on reserve for more than 2 years.

Union blast said the junior line holder at envoy is a January '16 hire on he CRJ. I think their lines are ok, but the -145 lines suck and some people prefer to take their chances on rsv rather than hold a terrible line.
Also worth noting; year 2 pay for any WO is a pay cut from year 1 with the bonus. The WOs still lack industry standards in pay after year 1 and at envoy, QOL and work rules are below industry standard.

What about reserve time on ERJ with envoy anyone with any info on that.
Increasing pay is one thing but other than that life at regionals has been below standard. Up have to get through them to move to majors.

Dfw EMJ is 2013 hire. ORD EMJ is 2016 and the crj is a 2015 hire. Had them backwards.

Regional airline subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings that operates service as American Eagle and United Express using a fleet of Embraer 170 and Embraer 175.
That's Great.

@Mollymatz Straight copy from Wiki. So how is the flight school business these days? Would you care to explain what exactly is "great"?

I'd go with PSA or PDT. Once you get a job there if you just want to vege out and let yourself go you can eventually wake up one day at mainline. If you want to get out early you can do that as well.
