Reporting a violation

We were aware of the tone of this thread, and were trying to lead through direction, rather than infraction. I don't see any infractions here.

I see that and agree with it. The sound of reason is apparent in both our posts and I don't see us as having a disagreement. The members who told OP he's to be punched in the nose will stay in Prunk and Gloria, probably even without getting warned, while others get a ding (and upon asking/ verifying a DONG) for joking with a member he knew, about their username) and that's really all that matters. It sets the tone and shuts people like me up.

There are a lot of things (moderation) that happen behind the scenes, so you may not be aware of the different ways we work on maintaining an environment that is condusive
to communication.

It must be like ATC...you guys are all coordinating on the overrides/landlines/interphones leaving us none the wiser.

Some do, some don't. What does it matter?

There are a lot of things (moderation) that happen behind the scenes, so you may not be aware of the different ways we work on maintaining an environment that is condusive to communication.

Oh cool! I always appreciate lessons on what goes on behind the moderator/ administrator curtain with message board management.
Obviously it must be be something I don't have a shadow of a clue about... just like flying, airplanes & marriage...

Never looked behind the curtain of a message board. Why don't you tell me more, so that I can be eduminicated.

You are missing a key point of what I'm saying here. It doesn't matter WHEN you join, it matters that you've communicated 138 times. In that 138 times, I'm saying that people don't understand you, your underlying motivations, your temperment, etc. The fact that you are a semi-lurker and simply show up wanted to take a persons livlihood - and get butt hurt when everyone doesn't drop what they're doing to become your accomplice on that is baffling to me. It has NOTHING to do with longevity...and it really has nothing to do with post count - it is more about being part of the community if you want to feel part of the community. You have to engage a little bit. If you showed up and asked a question about tips on flying a 421 - people would be all over helping you on that. Show up asking how to get an enforcement action going against another pilot? That's a lot different.

There have been no infractions issued, is what I was trying to say....no need to be sarcastic with me. I had to restrain myself from issuing a few, however.

I was trying to be communicative with you, but you have turned me off to wasting time on you today, I have more important things to concern myself with. You have however, given me a glimpse into your personality, thanks.

I understood that perfectly well and anticipated no less. I wasn't trying to be sarcastic with you. Just trying to bring the point across that the members here know others as well after 1000+ posts than they do after 15.

Steve & Dale have been unbelievably gracious in their words & handling in this thread.

Obviously, their message has been missed.

Time for a "Time Out". There isn't any effective communication going on here, and throwing insults is like throwing poo. Everyone in the house gets poo all over them, and no one comes out the better.

I'm not going to forensically pick through the thread to determine specifically why some of you failed to realize that this is JC and not FlightInfo or APC.

Put the egos on stun, take a chill pill and relax.
