What a fun weekend! Wish I could have stayed for the finale today, but it was non-rev hell getting out there so I can only image how many black travel pro's would be waiting in line for jumpseats on the way home.

Here's a quick sampling to enjoy... I'll try to post more as I go through them this week, but I'm off to bed (I do Europe/Africa fine, but the Pacific time zone kicks my butt for some reason)

WOW, great pics! You definitely had more than a cell phone camera! Always love your pics, can't wait to see more. The last pic is Dennis Buehn...I'm (hopefully...fingers crossed) flying with him in that exact plane next saturday, he will love that picture!
 
Ahh! I went last year and it was the best event ever. I'm pretty jealous dude.
 
INSANE how close the Blues get late in the season! That's gotta be no more than 18" from canopy to missile rail for 2 and 3!

Very cool... I'm jealous! Personally I'd love to take any kind of airplane for a spin around the course and the valley of speed :)

When I was at the Offutt AFB airshow a few weeks ago, on the diamond pass and review 2 and 3 touched. The only time they are 18" wingtip to canopy is during the diamond pass and review (the first pass the diamond does after take off). All the others they are about 20"-24" away and the most seperated they are is during the diamond alieron rolls where they are 3 feet from each other then after boss calls "diamond bring it in" they come back to about 20". Yeah, I know a little bit about the Blue's show :D

I was talking to an ex-Blue Angel that flew slot in the F-4's and he told me stories about how he would get on the radio in between boss and tell 2 and 3 to ease it out cause their wingtips touching were blocking his view of boss.
