Howdy everybody. 2 quick registration questions for you:

1. Looking at the spring class schedule, I see an avit 430 (Crew Resource Management) class taught by JOHNSON, M. Who is that?? I know of Al Johnson...but no M Johnson comes to mind. Anybody know?

2. On crewlink it says "You may register on 11/07/05 at 12:00 Midnight." Does this mean Sun night, going on Mon am at midnight I can register?

He must be a new guy. He isn't listed on the aerospace website faculty section. But I searched him on the general UND directory and got this:

JOHNSON, MARK LAVERN
Title: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Department:
AVIATION

Speaking of registration, what's everybody taking this spring? I'm wondering if any of us will have classes together? I'm gonna have a tough semester, I'm taking AVIT 414, 411, 428, 430, and 327.

I can't sign in to crew link! Gotta give them a call tomorrow! Me taking 102, should be fun and theres no way Ill be flying on Saturdays.

what the hell is crewlink?
where's ALFI?
ALFI is looooooooooooong............ goooooooooooone.......... VERY UNFORTUNATELY. We now have PeopleSoft for registering. Don't dare hit the back button on Internet Explorer (they say Firefox won't work - bastards) because it will automatically LOG YOU OUT!

It's a horrible peesa• software.

Reminds me of the facebook group dedicated to that monkeysh t creation. Peoplesoft needs to die. It's so much harder now to see how much you owe, and the details of the charges.

Oh god, peoplesoft is CRAP in every implementation I've ever seen.

Mark Johnson is a good teacher, I have him for CRM. He just started this semester. Before tha the was a captain at Piedmont. I'd definately reccomend him as a teacher, lots of good real life stories to bring up.

Good Luck finishing 102 then........
Well schedule wise at least i won't pick a sat. flight lab! If I have to make up a flight on the weekends it would be annoying but I will still do it.

What's the difference? Who cares if you have to fly on Sats?

Flying on Saturdays is actually kinda nice if you have a busy schedule during the week. You don't have to worry about classes interfering and stuff. It gives you a huge block of time to fly if you are doing a XC or a long lesson. Just make sure you don't have like a 7:30AM launch!

I guess everyones different! I prefer a busy week and the weekends off to relax, sleep a little late, and just have a good time.

Trust me, if you want to finish on-time, with all the scheduling and weather delays you will have to fly on weekends. I'm sure you instructor will tell you the same thing.

Guess I was working at least 2 jobs while I was there, so scheduling on the weekend freed me up to work during the week more.

I agree w/ Antonio, though. I avoid flying on the weekends like a plague. I've been behind in every course including multi—which I'm in right now—but have always caught up. I love to have fun on Friday and Saturday nights. I'm a night owl and love going to sleep late (or early, I should say:D). To each his own, I guess. Some people like going to bed early on the weekends so they can stuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudy! Booooooooring.
