You know, I think the school I went to might have had one or two of those. I think most of us chuckled at them because we know it's all bs... but hey maybe I should shotgun my resume and get pissed when no one calls because I don't meet the mins and I went to X school.

The ones on ATP's site are pretty misleading. Guaranteed interview at Republic with 500hrs and the jet course? Guaranteed interview at ASA with 500hrs?

Last month I called about getting an interview with ASA and sent my resume to ATP. I had 1175TT/480ME no busted check rides and a 4-year degree. I left three messages for someone who handles airline placements to call me back and guess what..... NEVER HEARD A THING

Where do you see that you can get an interview with Republic with 500 hours TT? I'm having a hard time finding that one...

I stand corrected I see the letter from 2007.

OMG I want to be a pilot so baddddd... I just sent in a letter to allatp hoping they will accept me and my $75K to work for AMERICAN AIRLINES... American Eagle is like the same thing right?:D

It makes sense. They want to pump out as many 90 dayers as possible before the legislation hits. Eagle needs more pilots and ATP can supply them. Can't really say I can blame ATP.

I have seriously mixed emotions about this. On one hand, growth and movement at Eagle means lots of newhires. On the other hand, oh hell. That given, until the industry starts enforcing new rules I can't really say that we could expect different of any regional airline. I'm just hoping that all the 1000 hour or so pilots that have been previously passed over for a minor blemish or whatnot get a second look. This sort of setup almost guarantees that if ATP uses in-house examiners that there will be pressure to avoid failing pilots on checkrides inspite of their performance. Why? Because they can't market a 500 hour bridge letter if a busted ride makes it useless. This just smells of desperation on the behalf of both ATP and Eagle. Eagle ALPA has been warning the company that this hiring bubble would happen for quite a while. Did they listen? *sigh*

I'm looking forward to August 2013 already.

Why would you send your resume to ATP with that kind of time? Were you wanting a job at ATP? They don't just take people off the street and put them with airlines. They take their graduates, who spend a ton of money with them, find them jobs and move in another guy with money to burn.
Did you burn a bunch of money with ATP in the last few months? If not they have no desire or interest in helping you. Welcome to the real world. Get your own interview like everybody else. Trust me, it builds character.

Sorry, I should have specified. I did the PVT/ACPP with ATP. Also got the RJ course right after I finished.
