Recurrent Training at a 121

For all the 121 drivers out there, how much advanced notice do you get before heading off to recurrent training?

It's on our schedule before the next month starts, and it's always during days that you were working (unless you waive that and train on days off), so at a point it doesn't really matter.

should be around a year, but mine was over 2 months early...so yeah

We bid for it. A reminder shows up in the bid packet two months ahead of your base month, but you can bid for a date in your early grace, base, or late grace months. For the yearly checkride, they assign you a month, but you can bid for the day and sim period time, and the bid packet for sim bidding also shows who the checkairman is for each period in case you want to bid around a certain person.
