And sometimes you just have to look across the ramp...

Hope you folks enjoy the pics... and as always suggestions and comments are always welcome

Wow, that's impressive! I was going to guess that was a Howard before I saw the tail. Not cheating over here, but is it a DGA?

(Here's hoping I'm not letting down Wegougeemandhow on my airplane ID's... )

I am curious, are those blue cans under the engines of the DC-3 there to catch oil? Awesome pictures!

Very cool! There's what I believe to be a PBY on the ramp at Glendale (GEU) here in the West Valley, there was a old DC-3 sitting there too.

Yes, it is a very nice looking DGA-15P being restored. Panel looks great. Nice airplanes.

That -3 looks like it may have been an old Rhoades plane. Do you happen to know what tail number it is?

Very cool pics, awesome machines.

There's a Howard at my home airport as well as a Beech 18 - unfortunately the owner, who also owns the airport, passed away last year and they'll be sold eventually.

It's a shame to see that DC-3 just rotting away - wish someone with $ and a love for aviation would give it some TLC.

The A-26 Invader. Two of them are in a yard dismantled in an industrial section of Tucson, AZ here. Another intact one rotting away in Buckeye, AZ airport, and two sitting parked and idle at Las Cruces, NM airport.

Man that's terrible, oh well - just the way it goes I guess. That A-26 is such a badass looking airplane, awesome design.

Well if I win the lottery, I'll adopt as many rotting pieces of aviation history that I can, haha.
