Yes, and why would he argue with someone who makes such cogent points as:

1) The world and the middle-east are better off as long as their people have a tyrant's boot on their necks. and:

2) We need to blow our strategic reserve now since happy days are just around the corner if we do. (Note: OPEC just increased production and the result was higher crude oil prices, hmmm.)

More than enough to go around over there, and we could use the traffic.

was thinking the same thing but I just couldn't resist. That was all that was going thru my head at the time, plus I was on a reduced rest overnight so I was tired. And before you ask why I was up........

I need time to unwind!

I think I incited a riot. Can't I be put in JC jail for that?

You know who should be blamed for all the world's problems... Canada!

That's right, we have been plotting world distruction now for quite some time. We have been sitting idle for many years so that we pass just below everyone's radar. You all now see that we are not such a puny little country after all!! Pretty soon, all Americans will have a Canadian flag on their cars instead of the ole stars and stripes.

Moo ha haha ahahah

Nice that new members are called trolls, sorry when you sign up to forums you start with zero. Since you would like to call me a troll did you even look up my first post on this forum? Did it not deal with aviation? I think it's pretty funny though, you go from responding to all points in my post at first then some and then you post this.

Ah, the tired and cranky excuse. It's my favorite, except I now get to use the old, tired and cranky excuse.

It's because people realize, hmmm, wait a minute. They're close to capacity, and we've got over two billion people more who are going to start demanding oil.

If ever there was a perfect illustration of how the law of supply and demand works, the situation with oil is it.

I love how people are blaming Bush for it, too. It's all because his buddies in the oil industry are jacking up prices.

Uh, folks, no President, no matter what his political persuasion, can repeal the law of supply and demand.

I've got plenty of problems with el Presidente, but this one ain't one of them.

Agree.

The same thing applies to our industry. Market forces are coming to bear with a vengeance and everyone is looking around for someone or something to blame. (Back on topic again?) Oil, hubs, capacity, labor, security costs, etc. etc. all out of whack and will be realigned.

Market forces are like the Mississippi river. The Corps of Engineers can fight it all they want, eventually that river is cutting a new channel to the Gulf. (Back off topic, sigh.)
