Well the second realignment is now out. DTW, MSP, BOS, and LGA Saab all close. Overall 83 captain upgrades and 11 new FOs.

Ug. Now it seems I really will be faced with the prospect of a barbie jet award. Is not paying tolls going back and forth to Jersey worth going to fly a crj? I really don't know. Many beers will be consumed over the decision.

I'm predicting...

:panic: on the day it is to be released (and isn't until late in the day).

then...

:insane: while reading it.

then...

:mad: after reading it (especially 9E pilots)

and hopefully, it call all end with a bunch of...

:beer::beer:
and not...
:chair::chair:

A plane is a plane is a plane. If you can improve your QOL go fly the damn Arctic RJ.

There are many current "barbie jet" pilots that wish we had that problem.

This is likely the last vacancy until next spring. Make sure your bid reflects where you want to be. Otherwise you may be stuck somewhere for a number of months.

Hmm. I suppose that did come off sounding a little Southwest pilot-ish. Sorry, not my intent.

As much as EWR is a pain in the arse, the new improvements to pay, work rules, and general QOL are enough to keep me content there for a while. That said, JFK could be a slightly better QOL - I wouldn't have to pay tolls to go to work anymore (they have just gone up to $12 for the tunnel). I'd really like to see what kind of flying is available out of there to help make the decision. Anyone have some flavor of a bid package for jfk they'd be willing to share?

I have the July JFK bid pack if that helps. pm me your email if you want it. Any chance you could email me the IAH bid packs for october?

can one of you colgan guys email me the october IAH bid packs? I'll pm you my email.

According to one of the cats that stays at my crashpad the commute from LAS to IAH is an awful commute.... apparently people in TX looooooove to gamble and spend time at the Bunny Ranch.

The line awards for all bases of the combined pilot group have been posted to the joint TA website www.ALPA.org/PNCLJCBA Keep in mind the seniority numbers listed are still from the respective properties pre Seniority List Integration. Simply cross reference the name of the pilots to the Integrated Seniority List to see where you would stand for the purposes of schedule bidding. The ISL can be found on the MEC website Colgan.alpa.org

yeah I know, I would like to see the October stuff though.

Here is a question that is floating around the crew room... if you are currently under a seat lock but the anticipated class date would be after your seat lock is up can a pilot bid different equipment?
