Amentum Kekaha, Hawaii:<BR /><strong>Job Summary</strong><br><br><p>Independently, or under minimum supervision, provides close positive air control of all aircraft operating in PMRF airspace. Must be certified IAW PMRFINST 3722.1 Series prior to controlling aircraft in PMRF airspace.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><strong>MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Provides close positive control of multiple aircraft through interpretation of radar data presented on analog and digital display devices</li><li>Communicates with aircraft using proper radio transmission procedures and protocols</li><li>Provides controlled aircraft with flight information necessary for them to accomplish their mission and avoid interfering with other aircraft operating in the area</li><li>Maintains a log of all aircraft activity on the Range</li><li>Prepares and submits periodic reports</li><li>Sets-up, checks-out, operates, and monitors radar displays and other computer-generated multi-sensor display systems in support of Range Operations. Responds to changing operational requirements when directed</li><li>Maintains surveillance and notifies RCO of unidentified aircraft or vessels entering the operational areas</li><li>Directs Range aircraft and boats in the launch and recovery of targets and the recovery of weapons<br />Performs aerial target coordination tasks during RPV flights and aircraft coordination during remote site EW operations as required</li><li>Performs other duties as required</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p> <br><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong><br><br><p><strong><strong>Education:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>High school graduate or equivalent</li><li><strong>Satisfactory completion of a Navy "A" School Air Traffic Controller (ATC) course or one of the following courses:</strong> Navy Air Intercept Controller (AIC), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ATC School, and Navy Air Direction Controller (ADC) Course</li><li>Equivalent Air Force Schools accepted</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Experience:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>3 years of experience in ATC field</li><li>Knowledge of radar displays &amp; computer-generated multi-sensor display systems</li><li><strong>Note:</strong> Any RATC used to fill a TCO position will meet all TCO position qualifications in addition to those required for RATC</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Required Training, Licenses, and Certifications:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Information Assurance</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Security Clearance:</strong></strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Secret security clearance is required. Applicants selected must be a US Citizen in order to apply for a Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment, and maintain a security clearance for access to clearance for access to classified information or Closed/restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.</p> <br><strong>Preferred Qualifications </strong><br><br><p>DoD Secret security clearance.</p>
