Don't you get those emails?Oh I can't wait to hear this...
Nope!Don't you get those emails?
Today, the Company engaged in a direct attack on our pilot group and the Local by firing Local 357 President Craig Moffatt for alleged training failures.
The Company dismissed Craig on grounds never previously used to fire a pilot while in training. It fired him for alleged check ride failures when no check ride occurred; it fired him without submitting to the contractually mandated Training Review Board; and, it fired him without complying with our Article 18 disciplinary process.
This is a clear attack on our union and our pilots. It is yet another attempt by this Management to break this pilot group. The Executive Board will respond to this outrageous action.
Sounds like this guy flies a desk better than a plane.
It sounds like he was acting like someone who was juggling many different things at once. I certainly wouldn't rate 145 school at Chautauqua as a cake walk. 1900 training at Skyway was challenging but I always knew where I was. It was good "getting your hands dirty and using elbow grease" training. Chautauqua training is more like realizing that mastering Call of Duty doesn't necessarily mean you'd be good at shooting a gun.
We have 5 memory items at Eagle for the EMJ they have something like 26 memory items from talking to the CHQ guys at FS in STL.So what you're saying is the Chautauqua training department hasn't learned how to train pilots properly? It's an RJ, they're not exactly difficult.
Lol, I guess you kinda have to see it yourself. They take easy technology and turn it into a cluster.
