I've always wanted to disregard an ATC assigned vector with this:

ATC: "Bankruptcy1234, turn right 20 degrees for traffic."
Me: "Not now Chief, I'm in the freaking zone!"

As an 18 year enlisted Navy man, I chuckle each time the other members tell me I should get me the uniform with my 2nd Lt bar. I parry by asking if I can wear my gold wings... They just look at me like I'm crazy.
