R-ATP Question

ive got a question reagrding the minimums needed for a R-ATP. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2014. I have something like 40 hours of approved credit hours so I qualify for the 1,250 minimums. I did instrument through commercial single engine with them under part 141. Here's where I get confused. To qualify for the reduced minimums you have to complete your commercial training with an approved institution. Does that include a multi add-on? I am looking to get the add-on at the end of my survey contract under part 61 with my company, but I had an Expressjet recruiter and a few others say you need to complete it under 141 to qualify for reduced minimums. It says commercial training, but doesn't specify multi or single. I did the initial under 141, so to me it seems like my multi add-on can be under part 61. I'm looking for something in the regs to back up my thinking. I don't want to do it 61 and screw up my chances of getting reduced mimimums because I'll be right around 1150-1200 total when my contract ends. There's only 1 part 141 vendor that offers the multi training at a reasonable price and I won't be home in time to start it (summer semester at OU). Hopefully one of you geniuses can help me out.

I'm pretty sure it's just instrument and commercial single. I had numerous classmates do commercial multi part 61 to save money and still qualify for the R-ATP.

The best thing to do is ask your school. FAA is extremely picky on this rule I guess so I wouldn't take advice from anyone but the school who will actually give you the certificate.

Like I transferred my private into college and received 6 credits towards my degree (like taking an AP class in HS almost)...when I graduated I put in my paperwork for the R-ATP 1000 hours since I did 60 credit hours (from the approved list the FAA gave my institution) and had just received my bachelor's...come to find out those credits only counted towards my degree but the FAA wouldn't recognize it...putting me 2 classes short for 1000 hours so I only qualified for 1250. Like it matters? I don't know. Either way I didn't go back to school for 250 hours considering the cost and time it'd take me away from instructing but just to prove how picky they are...I'd ask the school just so you don't do it the wrong way then blame someone who didn't go to your school. I'm pretty sure it's just instrument and commercial though...Doesn't say anything about add-on

Looks like you answee
Looks like you already read the answer to your question in the regs.

I was just looking for clarification on if it had to be just your initial training or for the add-on as well. The advisors at my college said it could be anyone that has authorization from the FAA for reduced minimums and that it has to be on a transcript.
