ive got a question reagrding the minimums needed for a R-ATP. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2014. I have something like 40 hours of approved credit hours so I qualify for the 1,250 minimums. I did instrument through commercial single engine with them under part 141. Here's where I get confused. To qualify for the reduced minimums you have to complete your commercial training with an approved institution. Does that include a multi add-on? I am looking to get the add-on at the end of my survey contract under part 61 with my company, but I had an Expressjet recruiter and a few others say you need to complete it under 141 to qualify for reduced minimums. It says commercial training, but doesn't specify multi or single. I did the initial under 141, so to me it seems like my multi add-on can be under part 61. I'm looking for something in the regs to back up my thinking. I don't want to do it 61 and screw up my chances of getting reduced mimimums because I'll be right around 1150-1200 total when my contract ends. There's only 1 part 141 vendor that offers the multi training at a reasonable price and I won't be home in time to start it (summer semester at OU). Hopefully one of you geniuses can help me out.
