Questions about UPS

Good Morning,
I have a couple questions that hopefully current UPS dispatchers can answer. Is the “Flight Control Shift Supervisor” a dispatch supervisor and what exactly does it entail and how much dispatching does this position do? Also would you be in CASS and able to jumpseat on company and other airlines?

Yes, it is a dispatch supervisor.

4 shifts a year for dispatching plus some in peak.

Yes, you are in CASS but it is a NON UNION position.

also i need to add that this position is considered "management" and the move to be a full time dispatcher under the Union will not happen..

Don't they also make less money than regular (unionized) dispatchers as well?

The pay is a secret even amongst the management group. Not transparent like a union contract.
